You got to see a lot more than I did but I wouldn't say I like planned tours either.

Despite having travelled for many years, this was my first experience with a planned day tour. To no fault of the lovely driver at Rabbies, I discovered this wasn’t how I like to explore. It was a lovely tour, and we got to see many of the breathtaking landscapes that Scotland offers, but I like travelling at my own pace.

You got to see a lot more than I did but I wouldn't say I like planned tours either. I caught a train from Edinburgh to Oban, the ferry to Mull, and the train back to Glasgow. I would have loved to have visited Glencoe and Fort William.
