I don’t think I can do this funnily

Cheers! Keeley and I having a chardonnay…

I can survive without coffee, tea and alcohol. I did it today. I woke up early, hung a load of washing out, put another on, added chlorine to the pool, got the Barracuda working and went back to sleep. No coffee. I usually go to Keeley’s for a real coffee in the mornings. But not today.

I don’t usually drink tea unless I am at my sister’s where I drink copious cups. I also drink tea when I’m travelling because I’m very particular in the way I like my coffee — weak and milky. Not how they make coffee in Europe!

I didn’t drink tea today — my sister is travelling around Australia in her caravan.

And I didn’t drink any alcohol either. I had leftovers for dinner which didn’t warrant a glass of wine.

I think it’s safe to say I’m not addicted to any of these three. When I was in hospital for 5 weeks, I didn’t miss alcohol at all. It was the last thing on my mind. The coffee in the hospital was undrinkable so I simply drank tea and pear juice. I was pretty miffed I found out on my last day, that I could order a coffee from the coffee shop at the front of the hospital! Oh well, I survived without it and saved myself $175 into the bargain.
