Wow! What an interesting read! I don’t work when I travel but my daughter does. She’s an ESL teacher and has taught from her van all over Australia. On my last trip to Europe, when I arrived in Vienna, I was asked how long I was staying. I answered 5. He assumed 5 days. I was actually staying for 5 months. I don’t ever get questioned for more information when I’m on my own. The exception was Israel where they questioned everyone. I’m 20 years older than you are.
