Wow! JoAnn! What a story! I know you're not exaggerating. I used to feel sorry for the JW kids in my class. Teaching 8 years olds, a lot of our themes were centred around celebrations Christmas and Easter particularly. They weren't allowed to do any of it and missed a lot of school. Easter Bonnet Parade? No way! so pleased you are free to celebrate any way you want to now, all except Ramadan. I have mountains of respect for practising Muslims.
