What you've said is mostly true. Chockablock is shortened to Chocka to chockas these days lol. Aussies shorten everything. I tried to give my kids names that couldn't be shortened. I failed. I succeeded with my first two Blair and Liam, but Stacey gets Stace, Leix gets Lex, Rowan gets Ro, and Keeley gets Keelz.
