What an interesting story! My grandson screams like a banshee if his mum or dad walk out of the room even if he's in my arms. i can usually distract him by jumping him up and down. He loves jumping. He obviously thinks they're never coming back. When they go to work, they sneak out and if he doesn't see them going, he's happy being with me.
