Well in all my travels I've never had anyone attempt to take anything from me. I have lost my purse, handbag, basically everything but have always managed to find them. After I left my handbag ( a cross body one ) in the toilet at Venice airport, I threw it out and kept my passport, credit cards and phone in zippered pockets in my jacket. I think I must look too poor to rob. I never lock my suitcase, and walk away to get a coffee but no one's ever bothered to take it. Maybe this next trip will be my undoing? Im the same at home. I've woken up in the morning with my front door wide open. I must have fallen asleep before I shut it. Im hopeless.
