We Aussies call it St Patty's Day or St Paddy's Day because we're too lazy to pronounce the t. But it's actually called St Patrick's Day. St Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland and legend has it that he rod Ireland of all the snakes! To my knowledge there are still no snakes in Ireland 🐍
