We Are Both Apple Girls
So are all the family…
Today I’m going to the Apple Store which we call the Mac shop. I’m taking my MacBook Air for a new battery — it’s life is shorter than one story — and new keys. The letters of my E, R, T and Y are worn off and I keep typing T for R etc.. My A and S are also worn but I don’t seem to confuse them quite so often.
I know I’ll be tempted to buy a new MacBook Air with the money I earned writing last month. My iPhone also has a problem with the volume. I can only hear the voice of the other person on the phone if I hit the speaker icon. Embarrassing if anyone else is listening!
Here’s Keeley’s latest tussle with Apple.
When I finally was attended to, I was told my MacBook Air was 9 years old! And was obsolete as far as getting parts for it. Looks like all the money I’ve made from writing on Medium is going towards buying me a new laptop. $1499 unless I can get an education discount as a part-time teacher.
And how do I fix my iPhone? Apparently, the answer is blu-tak. Pressing it into the depression at the top…
