Vegetarian or Vegan?

For a long time, I didn’t know the difference.

Now I think I do but I could be barking up the wrong tree. I have only once considered being vegetarian and that’s when I saw that horrific documentary. Keeley knows the one I mean. Only problem is I like meat too much. So saying, I’m actually almost vegetarian accidentally. I don’t actually eat meat all that often. Today I had no meat.

Yesterday I had leftover meatballs. The day before I had no meat. Meat is pretty damn expensive here unless you get it marked down. Keeley has a knack of getting really good markdowns. Today I had cereal, blueberries and milk for breakfast, and white hot chocolate to drink. Someone left that luxury for me. For lunch/dinner, I had spinach and feta scrolls with iced coffee. For dessert I had yoghurt and fruit salad. So a vegetarian day without vegetables!

I can tell you here and now that I could NEVER become vegan even if you held a gun to my head. My life would not be worth living without milk, cream, yoghurt, icecream, cheese and EGGS! In the Philippines, they didn’t seem to have cows so there was no dairy but there were chickens (and roosters) everywhere so we had eggs every day!

But I’m not going to be vegetarian tomorrow. I’m having pork and apple sauce and crackling for lunch!
