To face this sexism every day must be hard. Great article! When I first started teaching, male teachers doing exactly the same job ( and not as well as me) were paid more than we women. If you happened to be married, you had to resign at the end of every year and reapply for your job at the beginning of the next year so you received no holiday pay. ( that changed a year before I started teaching.) we’ve come a long way since then but it’s hard to change a patriarchal society.
