The Scariest Nightmare I’ve Had

I’m sorry to disappoint you but I don’t have nightmares — not that I can remember anyway. I do have bad dreams though. When I’m sleeping with someone, I’ll tell them about the dream as soon as I wake up. With no one to tell it to, I’ve forgotten it before I even get out of bed.

If it’s a good dream I try to go back into that dream — never works but if it’s a bad dream that I don’t want to go back to, you can bet I slip right back into that bad boy.

When I verbalise my dream, what made sense when I was dreaming is absolute nonsense. It’s always a long convoluted saga.

I dream about airports and numbers a lot. I’m either missing my flight or losing my suitcase, but there are always numbers in my dreams.

I have a recurrent dream I’ve had since I was very young. When I’m sick I dream there’s a big ball of string rolling toward me and as it gets closer, it grows in size. I try to get out of the way but my body has turned
to lead. I always have a fever or sore throat when I wake up.

When I have erotic dreams, they are never with anyone I would ever look at twice in real life. An ugly next-door neighbour used to pop up in my dreams a lot.
