The Peace Park museum in Hiroshima is the saddest place I've visited anywhere in the world and I've been to a few. I was bawling my eyes out by the end of the audio tour. Fushimi-Inari is my favourite temple. we walked the whole way up and back. There were only a handful of people there the day we went. I remember four other temples...the Golden Temple, two that were high on a hill and the one with the Zen garden. I saw a real live geisha in Gion. My daughter who lived in Japan for 10 years never saw one out on the street like i did. If you haven't guessed it, I love Japan!
