The Most Romantic Gift I’ve Ever Received

Geez, this is a hard one. I’ve already written about being showered with gifts for my birthday and the strangest Christmas gift I’ve ever received.
Every romantic gift I’ve been given I’ve either scolded the giver for wasting so much money on flowers that are just going to die in a week or abused them for buying me chocolates so I can put on weight.
Honestly I don’t deserve romantic gifts.
The most romantic gift I would like to receive is an experience.
A day spa, a flight in a hot air balloon or heck, even a day at the movies.
I detest getting practical gifts. An iron, a vacuum cleaner or any household aid will not get you brownie points. Even a hairdryer or straightener is not a thoughtful gift. I have both but never use either.
Here are all the gifts I received from my partner for Valentines Day. We were only together for 4 years.
