So sad. I was 19 in 1969 and waved goodbye as many of our friends went off to Vietnam. The ships left from our town. I have bittersweet memories of those times. I know that the guys I meet now didn't go to Vietnam. The ones that did are either so messed up they are unable to live a "normal" life, or they are dead - many from suicide or effects of agent orange. Such a sad war!
