I was determined I was going to see Claude Monet’s Gardens and House at Giverny. It was why I needed to come to Paris now and not later in the year. It took me 7 hours to get there.

I thought the shuttle bus would be running quite frequently or at least connect with the train. I waited and waited. I tried to call a Bolt. 17€ but he was busy. I tried again. 24€ this time and he was busy as well. The third time the charge was 32€. This was getting ridiculous. Did they know how desperate I was?

A couple of girls hopped out of an Uber so I tried to hop in. Non non. He had another pickup booked. So I called an Uber who arrived within 5 minutes and charged me 17€ right to the entrance! It was 4pm but people were still coming in.
