Peeing in the Shower: yay or nay

Can I be a fence sitter? I try not to pee in my own shower so I use the loo before I get in the shower but there always seems to a little bit left 😊 I’m extra careful in someone else’s shower. The bathrooms here in the Philippines have combined toilet and shower so I can pee, get into shower and when I feel the urge to pee a bit more (which I always do) hop back on the loo. Best of both worlds! There’s also bidets which is lucky as toilet paper is rarely provided and when it is, you are not permitted to flush it.

This is normal in many parts of the world where I’ve visited. It was my first little piece of culture shock when I started travelling.

If you think peeing in the shower is ok, have you ever had a shower after a stranger has peed in it? I had a guy who must have continually peed in the shower first thing every morning. I could not get rid of the smell for the whole week he stayed. It survived copious quantities bleach and disinfectant. The first day after he left, after treatment, the smell vanished.

This triggered my thoughts on peeing in the shower: yay or nay.
