OMG I'd probably be ok with the geckos (we have them here) and they do eat insects, but the rat would have to go. I hate rats! This reminds me of Fawlty Towers. Did they have something go wrong with the lights in one episode? I'm pleased you kept your sense of humour throughout. Wondering if your clean clothes return in the next episode.
