My son who was living in Vietnam and teaching English in Ho Chi Minh City was riding a scooter out in the countryside somewhere and managed to come off his bike. He was probably speeding when he hit a patch of gravel. I didn't get to hear the details but he did end up in hospital. That was more than 10 years ago. He lives in Abu Dhabi now and drives a car.
