My heart aches for you Harry. Feeling like you can't solve her depression must be really affecting you all. My daughter didn't lose her baby but her dreams of having a natural birth and being able to breastfeed were shattered when Caelin arrived very late and had to go on an antibiotic drip straight away. It was a real shock for her as I had no trouble with birth or feeding my six children. Just do what you can and just be there for her.
