My Favourite Ways to Show Myself Love

I bought this for myself this afternoon

My favourite way to show myself love is to book a spa day, a facial, a pedicure, a manicure, a waxing session, an all-over body massage or get my hair done.

I’m overdue for everything.

I’m trying to put off my hair until I go to the Philippines for my son’s wedding in June.

All of these require time and money neither of which I have at the moment.

A couple of funny things happened after my knee surgery — my fingernails and toenails stopped growing. And my knees which were hairless before my operation started growing hair. I think they shaved them even though there was no hair there to start with.

Can I go into the waxing salon and ask for a knee wax??
