My eldest daughter taught English in Japan for 10 years from 2000-2010. She would often go to Korea to teach at a "summer camp" outside of Seoul. I think the entry requirements fot teaching English in Japan are much the same as for Korea. Other countries are not so strict. All you need is that TESOL certificate.
