My days of hitchhiking are well and truly over but my girlfriend and I used to hitch a ride to the Gold Coast almost every weekend back in the day. We met some lovely guys that year. I have given a lift to a hitchhiker a few times since then. Maybe I can write about my hitchhiking experiences. I think ridesharing might have replaced hitching. I rideshare when travelling overseas.
