I hadn’t heard of these organisations. But I didn’t start travelling until 2010. My daughter has travelled the world. She has friends everywhere she stays with. If she’s travelling with me, her friends take us out to dinner. Occasionally I’m invited to stay with them too. Where she doesn’t have friends, she couchsurfs. It’s the best way to travel. You see things through the eyes of a local. I’ve only stayed with Facebook friends a couple of times but they were the best times of my whole trip!
