The Case of the Key

The culprit!

I’m going on an extended trip to Europe. I plan to be back in Australia just before Christmas. It’s likely I won’t see my eldest daughter before I leave. She visited me last night. As she left, she said you’d better give me a key ‘cos I won’t see you again.

Not thinking, I gave her a key. This morning I woke up and realised I have a guest arriving today who needs the key. So I drive over to Stacey’s (40 mins), grab the key, and drive back. I call in to my house to drop the key off. I can’t find it. I look eveywhere. In desperation, I call Stacey. She’s found it…I must have dropped it as I was getting into my car.

I’m late for Caelin’s second birthday party. And I have to drive over again this afternoon! Another hour and a half!
