Love the photos and the history. You manage to find some unusual places to stay. I've only been as far north as Porto. I had planned to drive north along the coast to Oviedo then to Bilbao. Unfortunately, cyclonic wind and rain hit Porto and we drove straight east over the mountains to Spain where believe it or not was sunny almost as soon as we crossed the border.So I believe the Costa Verde is really green!
