I've only been to San Francisco once but ate the seafood chowder in sourdough. Enough for two people when I was there, rode the cable car, pigged out at the Ghirardelli chocolate factory, took a trip to Alcatraz, saw/heard the sea lions, drove down Lombard Street. The only walking we did was from our hotel down to Fisherman's wharf (and back). You've reminded me of this trip.
