I'm with you, Rhonda. When I first visited Japan in 2004, I found where all of the disabled toilets were as I could be sure I'd get a sit-on toilet. Now I have to have a disabled toilet as normal height bowls are too low unless there is something to help me up. Where there's a will there's a way. Hostels don't have disabled toilets! I'm usually in to much of a hurry to take photos of toilet signs these days, but I do see some funny ones.
