I’m Lucky!
In more ways than one
I’m not Irish but I seem to be lucky. In so many ways, not just winning money. I like to think I’m winning at life having survived four relationships and come out on top. I’m not living in the gutter where two of my exes openly admitted they would like to see me. My winnings from The Chase prevented that from happening.
I like to think I’ve been lucky in life. Don’t disillusion me. After all, I could have quite easily been dead or worse. Hang on — what’s worse than being dead? I’m not going to answer that one. Anyway as usual I’m off on a tangent.
It’s all this talk of being lucky in this month’s March Madness Challenge by Keeley Schroder that’s done it!
What I wanted to tell you was I just entered a competition to win a trip to Vietnam. If you’ve been reading my stories, you’ll know it’s probably the last place on earth I want to go. To be in with a chance to win I had to describe my favourite travel memory in 20 words or less. How is that even possible? Forget what I just said about being lucky. If I win this trip, I’ll know that the other entries were absolute rubbish or that the draw was just random and it didn’t matter what anyone wrote.
I have so many wonderful travel memories, it’s impossible for me to choose just one. I can’t even choose a favourite country or a favourite meal!
