I'm just lucky I think. Nothing bad has ever happened to me when I've travelled that I haven't done to myself. But my friend who joined me for the last month of travel had 300 euros stolen from her bag by the taxi driver on her 4th night! She had a tracker in it so the police were able to locate her purse the following day but the cash was gone.
