Yes, I went to Russia on my own — I didn’t know a single letter of the Cyrillic alphabet. I had fun trying to work out the equivalent in the only alphabet I know!

While everyone is complaining their views, reads and earnings are going down, mine are going up. They’ve been on the rise since January. They haven’t reached the dizzying heights of my figures last June. But that was from just one travel story. So I’ve been thinking, have I picked up readers from other writers and that’s why their reads are down, or has Medium itself picked up extra readers and I’m just going with the flow? Or is it that I just write a heap of random shite and people like me because I don’t pretend to be someone I’m not? Anyway, I’m off on my usual tangent. Sorry, Nancy!

What I intended to write about was my most popular challenge responses in May.

Unbelievably, this was my top challenge story — the most boring story ever written — but are readers just curious about how I keep going strong? 😆
