I’ll agree with you. I studied French for 7 years. The choices were French or German. I love French. When I first went to Italy, I loved the sound of Italian and came back to Australia and fell in love with an Italian speaking guy. “ Andiamo” sounds so much more romantic then “let’s go”. In 2019. I spent a month in Spain. I loved the sound of the language so much I came home and learned Spanish. ( and Portuguese) but I think Spanish sounds sexier.
