If you ever get to NZ, I can recommend hiring a motorhome. They’re a LOT cheaper than in Australia. The roads are good and there’s hardly any traffic. My daughters and I saw the South Island this way. And you’ll have fun spotting scenes from Lord of the Rings! You must visit Hobbiton. It’s my favourite place in the whole world!
