I was one of those thousands. Because I’m travelling and writing every day of my travel adventures, I noticed straight way. My loyal readers were still reading my adventures but overnight my earnings dropped from $$ to cents. As low as one hundredth! A story that earned $2 ( still not a fortune) was now earning 2 cents ( hardly worth burning the night oil to write.) Don’t get me wrong. I’m not writing for the money. I write because I like writing about my travels and so my friends can read them. For 2 cents per story, I’d rather be writing my blog which I was doing happily for years before Medium.
