I agree they’re a great way to avoid the traffic. We travelled the klongs of Bangkok during the Song Kran festival. We were completely saturated within seconds and had to avoid being hit in the head with water balloons. They hurt! I copped one fair on the ear which left me deaf for a while. It was hot and humid so we didn’t mind getting wet.
