I travel looking like a poor person. I leave all my gold jewellery at home, and only take one dress. Lots of pants, long. johns, and skirts and tops. I can't have a shower and put dirty clothes on. Joggers, hiking sandals and thongs. I've given up taking snow boots. I don't do any shopping when I travel unless it's in a market. I stay in hostels so I don't have to look flash. I travel for 4 or 5 months so I have one large suitcase, a backpack and a front pack and my Thai material bag. :-)
