I loved Italy and I've visited a few places apart from Rome. If I had to choose between Rome and Athens, I'd choose Athens! Maybe because when I first visited I had low expectations of it and it was amazing whereas I had high expectations of Rome which were hard for it to live up to. Reading Darren's story on Rome just now makes me want to return.
