I love Venice but both times I visited in November/ December so no crowds! Touring the Doge’s Palace and the secret tour was a highlight for me. So much fascinating history. Getting lost is part of the fun in Venice. The view from your airbnb is amazing. Did you go to Murano or Burano islands? Probably too many crowds.
