I live close to Australia Zoo. I would recommend going to Lone Pine Sanctuary in Brisbane instead if you want to see Australian animals or Currumbin Bird Sanctuary on the Gold Coast. For a zoo, I’d recommend Western Plains Zoo at Dubbo or Taronga Zoo in Sydney. Australia Zoo is the worst zoo I’ve ever visited. It’s gone downhill since Steve died.
