I know it doesn't seem fair but you only get paid from Medium members redaing it and only part of their $5. I read a LOT, hundreds of stories a month so you'd probably only get a fraction of a cent from each of your stories I read. 6.7K is amazing! My top story only had 5.5K views an that was months ago. Fortunately for me, 96% were internal views so that story earned me a cool $1428 but I think that's more than all of my other 834 stories have earned altogether!
