I just heard that rugby league legend Wally Lewis has separated from his wife of 36 years and mother to his three children. He’s moved on to a new relationship.
Many long-term marriages crumble as couples approach their sixties, but when a man leaves his marriage to be with another woman, I think it’s a despicable act.
I’ve added him to my hate list of celebrities who dump their long-suffering wives for another woman. If they had split and gone their separate ways, I wouldn’t be so judgmental. But seriously, what a bastard!
I’m hoping he loses the respect of his sons and grandsons as well as his devoted fans. He deserves none!
Why is it women rarely quit their marriage for another man? Women do leave, but usually to be alone. They’ve had enough of being controlled and want their freedom.
