I have tears in my eyes reading this. I've had two attempts to see the Northern/ Southern Lights. Both failures although I had a wonderful week in Iceland and a fantastic camping trip around the South Island of New Zealand. Thank you so much for sharing this experience with us. I'm going to save it to reread whenever I'm feeling down.
