I have never been a good queuer. I choose what I think will be the shortest queue at the supermarket but there’s always some problem just before me. I wish I could tell you how many times the register has run out of paper on the roll. I’ve been known to walk out with nothing rather than wait for a checkout. Nothing is that important. So saying, I’ve missed out on seeing things when I’m travelling. I still haven’t been into the Louvre. The line is too long. I travel in winter to reduce the length of the queues. I could not stand to travel in summer and wait in a queue in the hot sun for anything- including the Queen.
