I had a feeling this would happen to this story. I've had the same thing happen to a few of my stories. Plods along for a few days with people you know reading it and suddenly it spikes! Medium must share it somewhere I figure. Mine wasn't well written. I wrote in a few minutes but Medium must have liked it. I'm not complaining. It's just weird and unpredictable. My best story until this year had the word Trump in the title even though it wasn't about him!
