I do understand people wanting to speak to someone on the phone with English as a first language. It’s very difficult to understand some accents. The hardest one for me is a Filipino who’s been taught English by Americans. The mixture of the accents is difficult especially when you’re partially deaf. I’m not being racist. It’s just a fact.
