I agree, Gerad. When I first started using airbnbs in 2014, they were a room in someone's home and we were made to feel very much part of the family. Now they're just as likely to be a place where we let ourselves in with a key and don't get to see the owner at all, but they're still cheaper and more comfortable than a hotel room!
