How Medium Wants You to Binge Read
Have you noticed?
Are you getting random people reading, clapping or commenting on quite a few stories of yours one after another and you wonder how on earth they found those stories. They’re not ones you’ve pinned, they were written weeks ago and never got much of a response when you wrote them. Here’s what’s happened and it’s new at Medium and I like it and hate it at the same time.
Have you noticed when you’ve read someone’s challenge response, there’s a whole list of other stories written by the same author directly underneath? Now if you’ve liked their challenge response, you’re gonna want to read more of what they’ve written and before you know it, it’s lunchtime. What happened to the morning? I wonder if the author noticed that I’ve read a shit-ton of their stories and how on earth I managed to find them.
So thank you Medium for a great addition to everyone’s stories. The only problem is it encourages binge-reading!
