Have you ever had one of those days when you’ve done nothing? I mean — absolutely nothing. I often have days when I think I’ve done nothing but when I look back at the day in detail I find that I’ve actually done something; even if it’s just caught up with friends for coffee and talked all afternoon.

Today was one of those days where I’ve actually done NOTHING! So much so that I really don’t know where the day has disappeared to. It’s as if the hours squashed themselves into seconds. Is this what drugs do to you? I have no idea what I did apart from breathing. And I must have breathed otherwise I’d be dead but I have no recollection of it. I didn’t watch TV or read or anything enjoyable. I haven’t even washed my breakfast plate. Wait! I’ve written 150 words.
