Oh, man, if I weren't scared of black cats before I met my partner’s mom’s cat, Mittens, she definitely gave me a reason to be. And it’s kind of fitting, too, because many people would classify Mike’s mom as a witch. She would just stare at you sometimes, scowl, and then in an instant hiss so loud, she could wake up the dead. I am mentioning the cat and not his mom, by the way, although that wouldn’t surprise me either.
