Great info! I agree with everything except the weather. I travelled to Portugal in January 2015 and January 2016. Actually the very same week - the first time was perfect weather, the second time it did not stop raining for the entire week which culminated in cyclonic conditions in Porto. We cut short our trip and headed back to sunny Spain. Just shows you can't predict the weather.
